Abstract

Due to an increasing cost pressure to tunnelling projects, considerations are taken into account to reduce costs. One of these considerations is the recycling of tunnel excvation material. On one hand, there is the possibility to reduce costs for deposing; on the other hand, there is an opportunity for making profits from selling this material. Another aspect of the recycling of excavation material is, to protect natural resources. Considerations of mineral processing and further processing of the tunnel excavation material are issues of this thesis. For this reason, companies in the periphery of planed projects were searched. These companies mine or proceed with equal materials like the expected tunnel excavation material.
