Abstract

The GKB-Bergbau GmbH is mining authorized or assignee in districts with an area of more than 11500 ha, in which extensive mining activity has taken place in former centuries. To ensure the legal duty, to guarantee the surface-utilisation after completion of the mining activity in this large areas, leads to the problem, that all areas with the capability for mining damages and objects cant be treated and stabilized at the same time. The danger areas and objects are categorized in action-intensities with an maximum-value-method, leading to an operation catalogue. The GKB fullfills its duty to guarantee the surface-utilisation with annual secutity-reports and an internal evidence-saving-program. Therefore a lot of environmental data has to be managed. The objective of this work was to develop a low-cost, flexible and extensible software system, that is able to remind the user on predefined dates of data collection, and to provide the possibility of central administration, presentation and printing of this environmental data. To proof the operational readiness of the system, the statutory orders and data documentation from the area of Voitsberg-Köflach was integrated in the new system.
