Abstract
The energy production plants of Wien Energie Ltd are maintained with varying strategies. There is corrective, preventive and condition based maintenance. The objective of this Thesis is to make condition monitoring according to strategic aspects more efficient. In the theoretical part of this Thesis, basics of maintenance and condition monitoring have been summarised. In addition, the maintenance organisation and the selected energy production plants have been described. As a first step of the practical part of the Thesis, the current state of condition based asset management in Wien Energie Ltd is evaluated. In a further step the vibration measurement is investigated in detail. For priorisation an extensive risk assessment have been used. As a last step, the change of needed resources is estimated and the future orientation of Asset Management is described.
