Abstract
The Chair of Subsurface Engineering was commissioned by ÖBB Infrastruktur AG to investigate wet shotcrete at construction lot 3.1 Grautschenhof as part of the "Semmering-Basistunnel" (SBT) construction project. The aim was to investigate the shotcrete by short-term and long-term tests. Within the scope of this master thesis, the development of the compressive strength and the modulus of elasticity as a function of the concrete age was determined by short-term tests. The long-term tests were carried out in the master thesis by Cornelius Lamprecht. Part of this task was to create a concept for the sampling at the tunnel construction site and to present the chronological sequence of the activities, from the sample preparation to the test execution. For this purpose, samples for preliminary tests were taken from the Zentrum am Berg (ZaB) and the concept was elaborated. A total of seven sample series were taken from the ZaB and three from the SBT. The sampling procedure and the sample preparation tests are explained in this thesis. Subsequently, the results of the short-term tests are discussed and optimizations are suggested.
