Abstract
For the determination of concrete stresses in tunnel linings hydraulic pressure cells were installed in selected measuring cross sections of the lines U3 and U6 of the Vienna Metro. In this thesis, the operating principle and applications of load cells are discussed. Furthermore, measurement data of the pressure cells is evaluated and recalculations are carried out to determine the lining forces in the inner and outer lining of the tunnel tubes. Then two selected cross sections were analysed using a finite element program and the analytical method according to Erdmann-Duddeck through which the lining forces are obtained. Also the individual simulation steps are discussed in detail. Finally, the measured values and calculated results are compared and interpreted.
