Abstract
The notions of quality, environmental protection and safety/ ooccupational health play an integral part in modern life. They play a crucial role in different management systems based on norms and regulations. Due to the increasing globalization of the markets companies are confronted with new challenges in these areas. Within the increasing globalization the offered services of companies will be expanded to new markets. To get more market shares in a fast way in different countries, the companies have to acquire other companies of the same industry and integrate them into the group. The result is that various management systems with different structures are present in each country. The aim of this diploma thesis is to illustrate harmonisation potentials of an integrated management system in a large international group of waste management by comparing various parts of management system.
