Abstract
This master thesis deals with conveyor systems in breweries. The first part explains the basics of brewing. Chapter 4 builds on these foundations by setting out conveyor technology, storage technology and materials for major breweries. Thereafter, the focus is on the optimization of a small brewing plant. First, the initial situation is described. To increase the brewing capacity and quality, it should be equipped with appropriate conveyor systems. The essential conveying processes of the brewing system must be automated.
