Abstract

The focus of this thesis is on the one hand in the construction of a contemporary time schedule for the procurement of continers and loading devices, which are to be used for future projects as a standard, and on the other hand in the creation of documents that can be used for the creation process for containers as a template. After the most important issues about containers were explained in detail at the beginning, the structure and content of a packaging manual is described. Ensuing the procedure for creating a schedule is described, the necessary knowledge to container design in the automotive industry is explained. The capital is completed with the creation process of all necessary documents. Subsequently, the structure and content of a specification sheet is discussed, which is to be used for future projects as a standard work for tendering processes of containers. In order to explain the calculation tool that was created for the calculation of the optimization potential, the structure and function of the main steps are also described closer. Finally a personal assessment of future trends and innovations in the automotive industry are following, where the modular carrier and the use of RFID technologies are explained in detail.
