Abstract

The object of this diploma thesis was to develop a compact solar panel and also to construct a prototype in order to have the necessary requirements to start a serial production subsequent. In the theoretical part the state of art has to be ascertained in order to find out in which field there is a chance for placing a new type of panel. Furthermore an extensive calculation shall be done to prove the application spectrum and the advantages of this system. The developed system diverts sunlight into otherwise poorly or non lighted rooms to increase the habitation comfort of it, but also to help to save heating and lighting energy. In order to this purpose the construction has to be able to rotate in horizontal but also in vertical direction so it can follow the position of the sun and catch a maximum of sunlight. Furthermore the autonomic handling of the panel was very important to create a wide field of possible uses form the garden of single family houses, internal courtyards to council estates. A supply with solar power and an autonomic electric adjustment were installed in favour to that. Finally the cost optimization was a central point of interest because the object of this thesis is the development of a commonly affordable product.
