Abstract

Reinforced polypropylene materials are widely
used for piping applications. Due to the high resistance against crack growth, faster testing methods are required for quality control and material development. The cyclic Cracked Round Bar (CRB) test has shown promising results in accelerating tests using fatigue loads. Aim of this work is to understand the development and accumulation of damage during fatigue tests in reinforced polypropylene.
