Abstract
TÜV AUSTRIA SERVICES GMBH is planning to expand their range of services. Therefore, existing services are to be merged to implement a new division. Central to this concept compromises the execution of energy audits according to ÖNORM EN 16247-1 respectively 16247-3. Furthermore, guidance to implement energy management systems shall be offered. The main part of this thesis is the composition of a checklist to provide an integrative energy audition of companies operative in the production industry. The checklist is a tool to assist during the auditing process to ensure the energy audit being conforming to standards. In order to test the quality of the created checklist, an energy audit was conducted within the TÜV AUSTRIA SERVICES GMBH’s facility. Main emphasis of this test was to verify the global steps during an energy audit. At this stage the integrity of the checklist is considered to be sufficient. Throughout practical usage the content of the checklist will be constantly revised. For commercial purposes, a folder and press releases were published. Due to not clearly defined legal matters within Austria, only the technical and economical aspects of energy audits were considered. Regarding to legal issues, the directive 2012/27/EU was consulted.
