Beschreibung

The European idea has been linked to energy from the first days. Steal and coal as well as nuclear energy where high on the agenda. Today Europe is struggling for new strategies strengthening the common economy, reducing unemployment and negative environmental impacts which challenge the global climate. In this context, the integration of renewable energy sources in our energy mix associated with an increase of energy efficiency in our daily use stand as a real opportunity for Europe. The Summer School brings together leading experts from both academia and politics, as well as international PhD students and junior scientists to jointly discuss and work on key challenges ahead of us for expected societal, economic and technological changes on the topic of “Integration of Renewable Energies in Europe”.The summer school will comprise classical lectures with interactive working sessions in which PhD students from France, Germany or other countries will develop a common European energy vision. Students will prepare in the end a communiqué which will be sent to the relevant ministries in France, Germany and the European Union, as suggestions from the academic youth.
